Pastor & Cassie Hill

Pastor Raleigh was raised in a Christian home and saved at the age of 5 at Corinth Baptist Church in Stone Mountain GA, but as a teenager drifted away from the Lord during his parents' divorce. On July 4th 1996, the Lord got his attention with the death of a friend. At the age of 18, he began to get back in church and the Lord began working in his heart to do more for Him.

In 1997 Pastor surrendered to God's call to full time Christian service, a short time later realizing and surrendering to God's call on his life to preach. He then began Crown College in Powell TN, with Pastor Clarence Sexton,in the fall of 1998. In his freshman year the Lord burdened my heart for missions and he surrendered to His call to be a church planter. His senior year the Lord moved me to West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster CA, with Pastor Paul Chappell. During this year he met Mrs. Cassie who was working on staff at Lancaster Baptist Church as a Kindergarten teacher. In 2002, he graduated from West Coast Baptist College with a Bachelors of Religious Education with Majors in Bible and Missions.

In June of 2002, he and his brother, Pastor Shane Hill, started the Winning Side Baptist Church. Pastor and Mrs. Cassie were married that same month. He worked as Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor, and after 2 years we brought in a pastor to continue the work. In 2005 he began his first pastorate in Lawrenceville GA. In 2007 he and his brother in starting the Heritage Baptist Church in Bogart GA where I have served for 10 years as Assistant Pastor leading in every area of ministry including Missions Director. In 2016 God called them to be Church Planting Missionaries to Argentina, in the Southern region of Patagonia. After the 2020 Pandemic they were stranded in the U.S. and were not allowed to return to Argentina. At the beginning of 2021, the Lord led our family to begin the Freedom Baptist Church in North Idaho in the city of Spirit Lake. In 2023 the Freedom Baptist Church was able to purchase 5 of acres of land and our current building in Blanchard, ID.

Ms. Cassie has been serving the Lord in ministry alongside her husband as a pastor's wife for over 20 years, and as a Christian elementary school teacher for 11. She homeschooled their three children and recently returned to teaching at Freedom Academy.
