Josey Hill
Ms. Josey is a teacher at Freedom Academy, administrates FBC's music ministry, serves as a youth counselor, and manages Mountain Coffee Co.
My Story
Josey Hill was raised in the home of Pastor Raleigh and Ms. Cassie Hill, following them from Georgia to the mission field in Argentina, then to North Idaho in 2021. As a result of these diverse experiences, she has grown up around nearly every aspect of church ministry, from church planting to foreign missions. God has gifted her with amazing musical talent, which she has honed through years of singing, playing piano, and songwriting. Since 2021, she has used these abilities to serve in Freedom Baptist's music ministry, contributing her musical and administrative talents to the continual improvement of FBC's song service.

In 2025, Josey spent time at West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA, where she was able to further her musical abilities and opportunities, serve in a dynamic youth program, and confirm her calling to ministry. She also had the opportunity to work as a barista in the campus coffeeshop. The skills she learned there are now employed at FBC's own on-campus coffeeshop, Mountain Coffee Co.!

Josey also serves as a youth counselor, media coordinator, and teacher at Freedom Academy. You're likely to see her on Sunday morning with a camera in hand, or helping manage the coffee stand! When she isn't teaching, singing, or serving as a barista, Josey loves to read, go thrifting, and spend time at home.
